Description: - Tara Villa is situated at the foothills of the Dhauladhar Mountains Range. It is located in the beautiful town of Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. This Villa is made of local materials such as Stone & Mud. The concept of using these materials is that they are readily available, environment friendly & help the building blend with its surrounding.

Our Client Mr. Parveen Chandra Sarin wants to reduce the use of Modern-day building materials such as steel and cement, that’s why we used vernacular material for the structure that is being decades back along Himalayan Slopes that makes the Cottages Warm in Winter & Cool in Summers. The traditional mud house design has been adapted to modern times, with wider doors & windows with glass letting in more light into Cottages.

The goal this design is not just to build a structure, but to create a space that is in harmony with its surroundings, is sustainable, & caters to the needs of its inhabitants.
